Your Certified Infant Sleep Consultant

Hello! I'm Catherine, a Level 6 OCN-certified infant sleep consultant. I am deeply committed to infant mental health, optimal nutrition, and fostering parent-infant attachment through respectful and responsive care. My fascination with sleep stems from its intricate connection to feeding, infant behaviour, and parental mental health. I know that for many new parents, the prospect of sleep deprivation can feel overwhelming and isolating. Through personalised support and gentle, effective strategies, I aim to help parents regain confidence, find balance, and create a calm, well-rested environment for the whole family.

The amount of information and opinions offered to us when it comes to our children and parenting styles can be overwhelming, but I believe sleep doesn’t need to be complicated or stressful. Whether you choose a 4-week support plan or a one-to-one troubleshooting call, the fundamentals of my approach to sleep are the same. I want families to feel informed and empowered to make decisions about how they approach sleep that are right for their family.

From Law to Family Support

I’m an ex-lawyer turned sleep consultant, having followed my heart and true vocation to support families and help children thrive. For as long as I can remember, I’ve known my calling was to work with children, but I wasn’t sure where I would fit in. It wasn’t until I became a mother to two highly sensitive daughters that my path became clear.

Discovering My Passion for Sleep

My fascination with sleep began as I navigated the challenges of helping my daughters rest well. Like many parents, I desperately wanted them (and myself!) to get the restorative sleep we all needed. At the same time, I couldn’t bear the idea of letting them cry it out. I felt compelled to find a better way.

Developing Gentle Sleep Techniques

Through trial, research, and a deep understanding of my children’s needs, I developed my own gentle sleep techniques—methods that set clear boundaries while ensuring my children felt supported and never alone. These techniques transformed our family’s sleep, and they inspired me to help other families achieve the same.

Empowering Families for Restful Nights

Now, I’m dedicated to sharing what I’ve learned with parents like you. I believe every family deserves restful nights and happy, thriving days. My goal is to guide you in helping your child sleep soundly while fostering a strong connection and a sense of security for both of you. Together, we can create a balanced approach that works for your family and helps you all get the rest you deserve.
